Benny Sings in Tokyo 2019

Sometimes a career starts from just making a few beats. After critics began talking about his hip hop sounds, the Netherlands-based artist Benny Sings received multiple invitations from major festivals and received a newcomer’s award with his debut album ‘Champagne People’ in 2003. This was followed by more dedicated research into singing techniques and pure pop music, which propelled his career further, making him a regular at festivals across the world. With subsequent albums in 2005, 2012 and 2015 that incorporate various influences from pop, electronic and hip hop, Sings has built up a varied repertoire, which will be on show at Shibuya’s WWW X.
