If you missed Fuji Rock and Summer Sonic this year, don’t fret. There’s another music festival coming to Tokyo this October. Tokyo's largest nightclub Ageha, which unfortunately closed last year, is coming back to host this three-day clubbing festival at a special outdoor venue in Odaiba.
The first day will feature a club party known as Violently Kawaii, followed by Agefarre on day two, which is a collaboration between Ageha and Velfarre, another renowned club in Roppongi. Dutch DJ and musician Johan Gielen will be headlining on the Agefarree evening. Unfortunately, day one and two are sold out for now, but more tickets are expected to be released (keep tabs on the website for updates).
While the first two days sound promising, the highlight of the festival has to be the last day (October 9) as it’s headlined by Fatboy Slim. This is the world-renowned DJ and producer’s first gig in Japan in six years. To close out the festival, Fatboy Slim will be joined by another '90s music icon, DJ Harvey for a legendary night of electronic music.
Tickets for day three are still available and you can get them here.
