Tucked behind the dormitories for the American Embassy in Tokyo, is this peaceful shrine that has retained its shrine structure for almost 300 years through earthquakes and war. Despite its status as a branch shrine of Hikawa Shrine in Saitama, the shrine is arguably the most popular 'Hikawa' shrine in Tokyo.
