Queer & femme party collective Waifu teams up with Diamonds Are Forever for this all-night event that will be held on the weekend of Tokyo Rainbow Pride. The former is a collective formed in 2019 by six women who wanted to see a more inclusive party scene in Tokyo, while Diamonds Are Forever is a drag group founded by Dumb Type art collective founder Teiji Furuhashi.
The event will kick off at 7pm at Parco’s Super Dommune event space and continue until the next morning at the rooftop venue of Parco’s Commune. This will be in conjunction with a zine fair held at Parco’s Gaku. The lineup of DJs and performers include Sapphire Slows, Keita, Sobriety, Simone Fukayuki, Chocolat de Chocolat, Afreeda O’Brat and Soyokaze.
Note: advance tickets for this event have sold out, but you will still be able to buy a ticket at the door on the day of the event. It will also be streamed online.
