Japan’s leading international drag show is back for its fifth installment in Tokyo this autumn, and it’s also expanding to Osaka for the first time.
Following its successful debut in January 2023, Opulence Volume 5 promises to be a bigger affair with three high-profile international drag superstars. You may know Jaida Essence Hall and Nymphia Wind from the hit reality TV show RuPaul’s Drag Race. They will be joined by Precious Paula Nicole, the season 1 winner of Drag Race Philippines.
The show in Tokyo begins at 7pm (doors open at 6.15pm) on October 25, but those with meet-and-greet tickets will be able to enter the venue from 5.30pm and mingle with the stars. Tickets start at ¥8,000 per person and are sold online via Zaiko and eplus from August 21 at 10am.
Tickets for the Osaka show on October 27 start from ¥10,000 per person and will held at Zepp Namba from 7pm.
