Odaiba's Miraikan marks the autumn full moon with a lengthy special programme, inviting visitors to admire the huge globe-shaped Geo-Cosmos monitor's image of the Moon at night 10 minutes before every hour (from 10.50am). If your Japanese is up to par, you can also catch a talk on the differences between Earth and the Moon, or just check out the special exhibition on the third and fifth floors in front of the Geo-Cosmos.
