There’s no shortage of food options at The Gate Hotel Tokyo. If you’re still recovering from jetlag, you’ll be glad to know that the on-site restaurant and bar Anchor Tokyo and the Lobby Lounge and terrace are both open 24 hours for guests staying at the hotel. The menu here focuses on western cuisine; dishes are prepared with quality ingredients and made to pair well with the bar’s extensive wine and beverage list. There’s even a spacious terrace fitted with a lush vertical garden if you wish to sit outside and take in the views of Ginza.

Anchor is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the menu changes accordingly. At breakfast, order from classics like eggs Benedict, French toast or decadent pancakes. You can even turn your morning meal into a boozy brunch by adding a glass of champagne or two. When it comes to lunch and dinner, you’ll be spoilt for choice with set menus as well as à la carte options; expect seasonal specials alongside classic dishes the likes of Caesar salad, smoked Norwegian salmon steak and grilled spare ribs.
