Set on the 46th floor of the prestigious Ritz-Carlton Tokyo, the hotel’s sky-high spa is a luxurious retreat in every sense. The spacious treatment rooms are elegantly appointed and provide panoramic views of the Tokyo city skyline. After your treatment, you can unwind in the serene relaxation lounge and extend your moment of tranquillity before re-entering the bustling world below.
The Ritz-Carlton Spa offers a diverse menu of treatments inspired by Eastern and Western healing traditions. Specialities include the Sakura treatment, which uses rose quartz crystals and essential oils to promote relaxation, and the Zenrenity treatment, which purifies the body with plant-based products and marine algae. There are also treatments designed specifically for men. Furthermore, the spa is the only hotel spa in the world to use Shiseido’s luxury skincare and makeup brand, Clé de Peau Beauté Synactif, in selected treatments.
The spa also features a Pedi:Mani:Cure Studio by Bastien Gonzalez, which was named the World’s Best Nail Studio Brand in the 2024 World Spa Awards. Created by Bastien Gonzalez, a French chiropodist with medical expertise, the studio’s treatments go beyond beauty, as they also focus on the health and well-being of feet, nails and hands.
Representing the studio at the Ritz-Carlton Spa, Tokyo is Benoit Perrier, a certified podiatrist who trained under Gonzalez. You can choose from two exclusive treatments. The 75-minute Bastien’s Duo (¥54,900) is an indulgent four-hand pampering for your feet, legs, hands and arms, while the 75-minute Bastien’s Foot Care (¥31,500) offers more than a standard pedicure. It includes gentle nail buffing to restore natural shine, skin treatment to eliminate dryness, and a tension-relieving massage on the lower half of your legs. Perrier also provides an analysis of your feet and skin, offering personalised recommendations for home care.
