Just a ten-minute walk from Okutama Station on the JR Ome line, this onsen offers some welcome respite after a day spent hiking in the local mountains. The facilities include indoor and outdoor rotenburo baths, as well as a communal foot bath. A three-hour soak costs a not-unreasonable ¥950 for adults (which goes up by ¥250 per hour if you stay longer), though be warned that this doesn't include a towel. Also note that the price increases to ¥1,050 for three hours during the new year holidays, Golden Week, August and November.
