With roots that date back to the 1860s, this old-school shitamachi sento sure doesn't stand out but enjoys steady popularity among the locals. Inside you'll find a few noteworthy features, including a steam sauna, a shower using carbonated water and a hinoki cypress bathtub. Hinode-yu's operator also runs Ota Kuroyu Onsen down in Kamata, famed for its Godzilla murals.
