Time Out says

To showcase the beauty of Soviet and Russian animations, the mini-theatre Yujiku Asagaya will be hosting a special showing of Cheburashka (a popular character from a 1966 children's story by Soviet writer Eduard Uspensky) and other works from the former USSR. The ten selected works include those by Roman Kachanov, the director of ‘Cheburashka’, and legendary animator Yuri Norstein. This is a great opportunity to learn more about a little-known aspect of Russian artistry.
