Shibuya's Theatre Image Forum has been holding this annual celebration of video art since 1987. Films are screened in a wide range of categories, from the open 'Japan Tomorrow' series to the invitations-only 'New Films Japan' and the ever-eclectic 'New Films International', while a special 'Filmmakers in Focus' programme – featuring work from five up-and-coming auteurs – has been added for 2017.
