Gear up for 11 days of LOL as the Tokyo International Comedy Festival kicks off this September with a whopping 46 shows including stand-up comedy, international roast battles, comedy speed-dating, bilingual improv and much more. With shows available in both English and Japanese, this comedy extravaganza is for everyone in Tokyo, whether you’re local or visiting from abroad.
The festival takes place across four venues in the city: Tokyo Comedy Bar, Tokyo American Club, New Sanno Hotel and Baird Beer Nakameguro Taproom. With a diverse lineup of comedians from Japan and around the globe, you can look forward to catching household names like LA-based Hall of Fame battlers Kim Congdon and Keith Carey, as well as local talents such as Yurie Collins, Evan Musoka, Vinay Murthy and Jay Yamaki.
