DJ Ravin from Buddha Bar

If the Buddha Bar compilations that he helped pioneer no longer hold sway as the zonk-out music of choice for wannabe yogis, that hasn't stopped DJ Ravin from securing bookings around the world. In keeping with his penchant for unorthodox venues (he played at Xex Nihonbashi the last time he was in town), Ravin will be heading the bill at a party in The Peninsula Tokyo's swanky Peter bar on Saturday. He'll have DJs including club jazz veteran Toshio Matsuura for company, but the highlight of the night might come from the 'beauty legs contest', in which attractive young belles vie for a possible contract with the Elite Japan model agency. Is anyone else getting slightly mixed messages here?
