Win tickets to the Love Tokyo Awards 2016 ceremony

'And the winners are'...Our inaugural Love Tokyo Awards are drawing to a close, with the long-awaited awards ceremony to be held in Shibuya on December 21. On the day, Hikarie's Hall A will be hosting the very best of Tokyo – as selected by Time Out Tokyo's local experts and editors from across the global Time Out network.

And if you're still not quite sure what all that means, here's a quick primer: the 'Love Awards' date back to 2014, when Time Out London first established the Love London Awards. Residents were asked to submit their top London picks to show a little local pride, and as the event proved rather popular, the City of London has been lending a hand since 2015.

Previous mayor Boris Johnson and current head honcho Sadiq Khan also asked Londoners to participate and got the momentum up to a peak. Since then, the Love Awards have spread across the Time Out world, with similar set-ups in New York, Paris, Lisbon, Bangkok and, now, Tokyo.

To celebrate, we're giving away 10 pairs of tickets to the awards ceremony – to apply, shoot an email to present@timeout.jp with your name, phone number and 'Love Tokyo Awards 2016 ceremony tickets' in the subject line. Just make sure to move fast, as the deadline is midnight (11.59pm) on Wednesday December 14. See you at Hikarie!

The deets:

When: 4pm-5pm (doors 3.30pm) on December 21, 2016 (Wednesday)
