We know that urban life can be as infuriating as it is exhilarating. One moment you’re feeling like you’ve got the keys to the city, the next that you’re stuck in the rat race. So we’re investigating what city living is really like in 2016. We want to discover what makes cities great, from Tokyo to New York and São Paulo. Where’s got that joie de vivre, and which cities are suffering from creeping ennui?
Where can you dance all night? Find great food on every corner? Or make a new friend on your journey home? And where – if anywhere – can you still have a good time without breaking the bank? We sure think Tokyo meets all those criteria – especially now that the infamous 'no dancing' law has been repealed – but do you agree?
