The plush cocktail bar at the Tokyo Edition, Ginza is hosting Satoshi Sugiura, bar manager of El Lequio, for its first guest bartender event. Founded by acclaimed bartender Shingo Gokan, El Lequio was the first bar in Okinawa to be listed on the prestigious Asia’s 50 Best Bars extended list in 2023.
For this one-off event on Friday August 23 (from 8pm), Satoshi Sugiura will be serving three signature cocktails from El Lequio featuring Japanese and Okinawan spirits as well as tropical influences. They are: gin-based Chura-Umi Salad (cucumber, lemongrass, seaweed and bitter melon), vodka-based Insane Goat Power (Okinawan wormwood, sauternes and clarified cheese), and Mabuyer’s Punch (vodka, orange wine, fennel, clarified milk and Kokuto de Lequio liqueur).
On this night, Punch Room Tokyo will also offer exclusive cocktails inspired by Satoshi Sugiura. Drinks are priced at ¥2,800 and reservations are available via TableCheck.
