Time Out says

Tucked away in the back alleys of Kagurazaka is this genteel bar specialising in whisky, where a majority of which are of Japanese origins. A sister bar of Mizunara: The Library in Hong Kong, Mizunara: In Tokyo is a refined take on a classic Japanese-style bar. It’s nestled in a charming Shinjuku neighbourhood known for its stone-paved alleyways, French influences and hidden restaurants.

With a quaint Japanese garden and a warm wooden interior showcasing an array of rare whiskies and shochu, the bar makes for a peaceful refuge. In fact, many of the whiskies here are sourced directly from independent and niche distilleries in Japan, offering private cask selections that are sure to delight connoisseurs.

If you’re looking for speciality cocktails featuring Japanese whisky, try the bar’s signature Kohbai, made with pomegranate and lemon juice to deliver a sweet and sour fruity experience.

Reservations can be made online via TableCheck.
