Time Out says

Experimental Kyoto cocktail bar Nokishita 711 is bringing its ‘liquid cuisine’ to Tokyo with this one-day-only pop-up at Shibuya’s Liquid Factory. Nokishita is known for its unusual concoctions, which often involve savoury flavours like seafood, mushrooms or curry mixed with more conventional cocktail ingredients.

Now you can sample Nokishita’s genre-blending drinks without taking a trip to Kyoto. During the takeover, you won’t be able to order from Liquid Factory’s main menu. Instead, there’ll be a small list of drinks prepared by Nokishita owner and bartender Tomoiki Sekine. The menu is being kept secret, but will include four or five popular drinks from the Nokishita’s regular menu. There’s also a special milkshake in the works as an alternative to Liquid Factory’s usual boozy shakes (we hear it’ll be squid liver flavour – you have been warned).

The event runs from 3pm-9pm on Sunday February 20 and bookings are available for 3pm, 5pm and 7pm. Just send a DM to Liquid Factory on Instagram to make a reservation. Don’t worry if the spaces fill up, though – walk-ins are welcome, too. So mark your calendar and make sure to visit for some of the most inventive drinks you’ll find in Japan.
