Once home to one of the capital's most exclusive beer gardens, with a capacity of just 20 people per night, the Hilton Tokyo is now taking a far more inclusive approach. Relocated to a terrace spot overlooking Shinjuku Chuo Park, the hotel's beer garden now has space for 180 people, and a price tag that’s far less eye-watering. In fact, were it not for the classier location, you might struggle to distinguish it from the beer gardens that you find atop almost every major department store in the city. Here, ¥3,000 gets you all you can drink from a menu including draft beer, wine and soft drinks, with a selection of food also available from ¥500. For an additional ¥1,000, you can opt to sit in the luxurious lounge seats.
