Note: David Bowie Cafe has had its run extended until March 31
You'd have to be living on Mars to have missed the fact that the Thin White Duke is back. As David Bowie returns with his first new album in a decade (and a pretty fine one, at that), Japan's oldest authentic British pub is staging its own tribute to the man. Expect a steady soundtrack of Bowie hits during the promo campaign, which you can enjoy while sipping original cocktails like the azure-coloured China Girl (¥1,000) and sampling one of the man's favourite dishes, shepherd's pie (¥1,100, including a small glass of Guinness; only available 2.30pm-10pm). If you want to hear new album The Next Day in all its glory, head to the Sony showroom upstairs for a full playback (11am-7pm only).
