It’s an apt name for a bar located in Tokyo’s grottiest love-hotel district, but the Ghetto gets its name from its graffiti covered facade and B-boy theme. As you enter the building there’s a skate ramp to your right, and one of Tokyo’s quirkiest new bars to your left. Although the shambolic interior suggests it was created an hour or two before your arrival, the mishmash of fluffy sofas, plastic chairs, tatami mats and tall stools makes it a fun and funky bar that’s refreshingly free from pretension.
