Located in the basement of Ginza Sony Park, this craft beer and deli stand lets you take your beer to go in a transparent cup and lid, much like a takeaway coffee. Fans of Spring Valley Brewery might recognise Beer to Go as an offshoot of the popular brewpub (there’s one in Daikanyama) as they serve the same house brews such as Daydream, Jazzberry and Afterdark, albeit at a cheaper price. Here at Beer to Go, you can get a regular 250ml craft beer from as little as ¥500.
There are up to 17 options on tap daily – house brew, limited-time specials and guest beers – plus an equal number of seasonal deli choices. All the food on offer are made to pair with the beer. We recommend getting the Texas-style barbecue brisket or the special BTG (Beer To Go) burger for a hearty meal. The best time to visit is during a live music session; it’s usually held towards the end of the week and there’s no cover charge, just make a minimum of one purchase (check the Ginza Sony Park website for upcoming gigs).
