Indoor wildlife theme park Orbi Yokohama is celebrating Halloween this year with the help of some of the resident animals. Until November 4, you can take a photo with the 2m-long python (¥1,000), have a black-headed parrot pick out a tin badge for you to take home (¥300) or have one of the adorable cats fetch a gift from a capsule machine (¥300). On weekdays, you’ll be able to catch the spotted eagle owl’s flight training session for free, as well as meet a parakeet that will recite your fortune of the day (¥300).
Children of primary school age and under will be able to purchase a DIY face mask kit for ¥100 and draw and attach stickers to it to create their own original Halloween masks. Don’t forget to stop by the cafe on the second floor to get a taste of the monster Halloween soft serve ice cream (¥450), topped with cute monster-shaped chocolates.
