Alternative art space Kura is marking its second exhibition since opening in late 2024, welcoming emerging artist Takai for a deeply personal showcase of works in his signature ‘dissolution’ style. The Kumamoto-born creative, who made an unconventional switch from the auto industry to pursue art, explores the visualisation of inner emotions through colour.
Takai's work reflects his belief that form is only a supplementary element and that our inner emotions and experiences are what truly matter. The pieces seek to convey the journey of discovery and the manifestation of our unique colours.
