Staying Tokyo

In this online event hosted by Rhizomatiks, Yuko Hasegawa will be giving a talk with Olafur Eliasson on his exhibition 'Sometimes the river is a bridge'. Hasegawa is the Artistic Director of  Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo, where the exhibition was due to be held, but the museum is currently closed due to the current circumstances of the Coronavirus pandemic. In anticipation of the museum's reopening, this event will feature an introduction of Olafur Eliassons work as an environmental artist as well as a discussion of the affect the pandemic has had on the art world. The talk will be followed by a DJ session featuring local artists including Keijiro Takahashi.
