Samurai – Peacekeeping Contributors in Edo Period

Japan's historical warrior class, the samurai are known worldwide but perceptions of their role vary widely. To depict a well-rounded image of the samurai, the Edo-Tokyo Museum is hosting a special exhibition, which reviews their life and work through 200 exhibits including genre paintings, old photographs, records and heritage tools from the bygone days.
