Katsumi Murakami Illustration Exhibition

Illustrator, kirie (papercutting) master and sendai native, Katsumi Murakami is showcasing the illustrations he’s worked on for story books and novels over the years, one of them is for a detective novel by the famed Agatha Christie. Besides printed literature, Murakami has also dabbled in drink and snack packaging design in his spare time; this series of works often carry a retro, nostalgic vibe due to his distinctive two-dimensional style and colour choices.
