Admire Japanese crafts from the past, present and future at this four-day exhibition, directed by shoe designer Noritaka Tatehata – the man behind Lady Gaga’s futuristic heel-less platform shoes. All the items on display are from companies in traditional Japanese industries, including artisanal rouge by Komachi-beni, premium Japanese knives by Ubukeya, Tokyo kumihimo (braided cords) by Rykobo, and beautifully crafted glasses by Edo Kiriko. There are workshops, too, so you can even learn the craft behind each item.
