Get ready to welcome back Designtide, a design-focused fair returning to Tokyo for the first time in 12 years. This year’s edition features 32 exhibiting works courtesy of designers and artists from Japan and abroad, including Korea, Taiwan, Sweden, the UK and more. Additionally, there'll also be a special exhibition featuring works by eight up-and-coming artists that focus on crossing the boundaries of art and design.
11 talk programmes are also scheduled throughout the event with appearances by world-renowned entrepreneur and CEO of Mistletoe, Taizo Son, and museum curator and writer Ikko Yokoyama. For the full list of talks, visit here.
At the event, a special space will also be dedicated to the Market, where you can shop for exhibitors' works, prototypes, material samples, objects that served as inspiration, and more. There'll also be a selection of art books in various categories.
