Beauty Festival

An exhibition featuring Edo-era artists including Maruyama Oori, Yokoyama Taikan and Tsuguhara Foujita. A total of 90 works from the Edo period to present time will be exhibited and sold, displayed without casing so you’ll be able to feel the unique texture of the old paper and ink directly. 

Highlights include Toshio Arimoto's ‘Visit from the Sea’, Tsuguhara Foujita's ‘The Girl Holding a Cat’, and Yokoyama Taikan's 'Reiho Fuji'. Other painters to be featured include Ogata Korin and Ike no Taiga, as well as wood sculptor Hirakushi Denchu.
