Using lost-wax casting, artist Ayako Kuno creates intricate metal wiring figures to create a birds-eye view of the world, including artificial features like train tracks, highways and skyscrapers. Her map-like creations are a reminder of how important it is to see the bigger picture, rather than being caught up with small changes right in front of us. With the help of Google Maps, Kuno has been able to turn her artistic vision of cities around the world into mesmerising sculptures.
