If you’re looking for an artsy weekend, head to Tennozu Canal and browse through this free art market scattered around different venues in Tennozu Isle. What Cafe will be showing paintings by 30 different artists and guests will have the opportunity to interact with the artists themselves. Meanwhile, at B&C Hall, you’ll come across traditional crafts like pottery, glassware and textiles. For ¥5,000, you can participate in workshops at Pigment Tokyo where you’ll learn how to improve your painting skills with watercolour and mineral pigments.
Head to the boardwalk in the evening to see an installation by Kyota Takahashi, decked in colourful LED lights. And while you’re out here, it’s worth checking out some of the graffiti and street art murals painted on the large warehouses nearby.
