Art Front Gallery

There's a high turnover at Art Front Gallery, one of a handful of exhibition spaces within the Daikanyama Hillside complex. The gallery, which has been around since 1984, primarily works with avant-garde contemporary artists from both Japan and abroad. Among the long list of artists the gallery has hosted include Leandro Erlich, Cai Guo-Qiang and Taro Yasuno. Most of the exhibitions – which focus mainly on contemporary Japanese artists – only run for a few weeks, meaning you can expect at least 10 each year.
