This is the final exhibition at the National Museum of Kogei before it relocates to Ishikawa prefecture. The show is separated into five parts, which revolve around 20 phrases or words that local artisans have come up with to express their passion for their crafts, with around 150 items in total. The most important work here is Chokichi Suzuki’s ‘Twelve Hawks’; it was created for the Columbian Expo at Chicago over 120 year ago.
