Pottery With a Purpose returns to Time Out Market with two hands-on mug-making experiences this month—including this special Friday night edition that includes a flight of flavors from Far Out Ice Cream. The inclusive, beginner-friendly pottery class is led by an expert host who provides step-by-step instruction to create a pinch pot and transform it into a functional item like a ceramic mug or flower pot. It’s a two-hour workshop, after which can take it home as-is or have the option to make it waterproof and food-safe and shipped back to you within six weeks. Everything you need to craft one or two pieces of personalized pottery, including decorating materials, adding handles, glazing and off-site firing, are included in the ticket price, as well as pottery-themed trivia with fun prizes. Tickets are $90.
