Vanilla Fig Cooler. Winter Warm Spell. Blackberry Ginger Fizz. These titles entice like the creative, seasonal cocktails you’ve come to expect from the bars at Time Out Market Boston—but they are all alcohol-free.

Whether you’re giving Dry January a try, day drinking during brunch or just looking to start 2025 with a little less booze in your body, the new mocktail menu at Time Out Market is here for you.

“There's no reason to miss out on the fun just due to alcohol,” says Meghan Murphy, assistant general manager at Time Out Boston and mixologist extraordinaire. “While I enjoy an adult beverage myself, I know what it's like to just not feel like consuming alcohol and being bummed out by the lack of N/A options.”

That’s never the case at Time Out Market, which always offers Sam Adams "Just The Haze" non-alcoholic beer, TÖST Rosé, kombucha, root beer, cream soda, Culture Pop, fountain soda and more non-alcoholic offerings. But especially for January, Murphy is highlighting the care that goes into crafting memorable mocktails.

“I use house-made syrups and my driving force is always flavor,” she says. Mocktails are always available from the bars at Time Out Market—all you have to do is ask. These four drinks are featured on the menu in January.

Lavender Lights

What’s in it: Lavender syrup, lemonade, splash of soda

What it’s like: Shaken and strained into a Collins glass with cubed ice and topped with bubbly water, garnished with a sprig of lavender and a lemon wedge.

Vanilla Fig Cooler

What’s in it: Q Grapefruit Soda with fig-peppercorn and vanilla syrups

What it’s like: The fresh, bitter and tart grapefruit soda is balanced by the sweet, cozy syrups. Served on ice in a Collins glass, it’s garnished with mint.

Blackberry Ginger Fizz

What’s in it: Q Ginger Beer topped with blackberry-ginger syrup and a squeeze of lime juice

What it’s like: Bright and effervescent, the homemade syrup provides juiciness against the backdrop of spicy ginger beer. The Collins glass is garnished with a lime wedge.

Winter Warm Spell

What’s in it: Pineapple juice, coconut cream, lime and pineapple juices, jalapeño syrup and alcohol-free bitters

What it’s like: Topped with overflowing crushed ice, this one is a tropical vacation, minus the flight and hangover.
