If wine lifts our spirits, combining it with cheese does so even more. In case you didn’t know, both are rich in probiotics, and the advantage of pairing them (beyond doing it for pure hedonism) is that cheese helps us get rid of the tannins that so eagerly cling to our tongue, those substances responsible for that annoying sensation of acidity and dryness. Enjoy these two adoptive siblings with the wine tasting from L'Apical and artisan cheeses from Colmado Múrria at the Time Out Market on February 22 from 12.30 PM to 1.30 PM. You’ll taste four varieties of each, with an added masterclass to turn you into true connoisseurs. Be sure to reserve your ticket here – they’re limited and selling fast!
Which wines are part of the tasting? Vividors del Vi, a fresh and aromatic xarel·lo and malvasia from Sitges; Methodic, an orange xarel·lo vermell with character and citrus notes; Coll de la Sitja Ancestral, an ancestral macabeo with fine, elegant bubbles; and Una 2021, a single-vineyard, single-varietal cariñena with intensity and depth. The cheese selection includes Serrat del Triadó de Sort, a creamy-textured, flavorful cow’s milk cheese; Sarró de cabra, soft with a slightly tangy touch; Muntanyola Garrotxa, an intense goat’s milk cheese with smoky notes; and L’Orc de Meranges, a sheep’s milk cheese with character and rustic, pasture aromas.
