This weekend, some of the most formidable clubs and beach clubs around Southeast Asia are hosting some heavy-hitters. For music lovers and seasoned dance-a-thon winners, amped up tunes, iconic parties and even a US Festival will leave you spoilt for choice. For culture fans, evenings of entertainment, mystery and jazzy groves will keep you busy, while those more into dining can enjoy unlimited seafood at the island’s top banquets. And, with B10,000 up for grabs, it's anyone’s game this weekend in Phuket.

Axwell at Illuzion

Yusf Osiris is also performing, as well as an impressive showcase of local talent – however the full line-up still remains hidden, no doubt to add to the mystique. Tickets start at B1000 to see the full show on March 23rd at the Lotus Arena. Mar 21. B1000 or more for tickets. Lotus Arena. 4pm-midnight.

Phuket’s own full moon beach party

Maya Beach Club is attempting to stake its claim as the top full moon party in Thailand outside of Koh Phangan – one for the more sophisticated audience, free disheveled backpackers. Classy and up-beat, the event promises a spectacle on the beach with dancers in extravagant outfits telling interpretive stories of nature to a soundtrack by Omnya off the back of touring Ibiza and Tulum. Expect a unique melody of jungle house fusion that takes the classic full moon party to the next level, sans the boozy buckets.  Mar 22. B1,071 per person, ticket includes one complimentary drink. Maya Beach Club. 9pm-late.

Sunday Soul

One of the longest standing jazz bars on the island, Bebop in Phuket town is where smooth soul or lively jazz is guaranteed to be found. While hosting various acts throughout the week, Sunday blows it out of the park with Bebop regular RnB and Soul Diva EKA Soundz joining forces with French Jazz singer Lee Broz – bringing a new smooth swagger to the stage. Book a seat to ensure your spot, but feel free to turn up on the night with limited seating available and free entry making it a popular event. Mar 23. Free. Bebop in Phuket. 8.30pm-late.
