Oak Street Bakery

Oak Street Bakery represents a new-ish arrival on West’s kolache scene; owner Jennifer Gerik (not affiliated with Gerik’s Ole Czech Bakery) launched this spot just four years ago after relocating from Hillsboro, Texas, where she learned the bakery trade from her mother. She uses tried-and-true family recipes to make her kolaches, and the pastries benefit from that commitment to tradition. Soft but supple dough, bright and engaging filling flavors and that warm Southern hospitality can all be found at Oak Street Bakery.
