But if you're particularly passionate about fab fashion or fine food (and really, who isn't?) then we think you'll want to know about the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival and the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival. Thanks to Visit Victoria, there are two weekend getaways up for grabs, one for foodies and one for fashionistas.

For the style stars your weekend away includes two tickets to a Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival runway show, a personal styling session from Design A Space, a dining experience at chic on-water bar Arbory Afloat, brunch at Insta-worthy café Higher Ground, cocktails at the Rum Diary Bar, dinner from Argentinian grillers Palermo plus accommodation and flights.
Foodies
Spend all day dreaming about your next meal? The foodie weekend getaway will have you and a friend sitting at the (very long) table at Bank of Melbourne's World’s Longest Lunch as part of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival. Bring your comfy pants as you’ll also be eating at San Telmo (the people’s choice for restaurant of the year), the sleek Rice Paper Sister, enjoying brunch at Pickett's Deli, having cocktails at Beneath Driver Lane and taking a chocolate tour at bean to bar chocolate shop Ratio Cocoa Roasters (with a hamper thrown in for good measure). Flights and accommodation are also included.
