What do you get when you bring together some of Australia’s chattiest performers and tell them to not shut up? You get Yack, the festival devoted to people with plenty to say. Now in its second year, the festival features a non-stop line-up of live comedy, podcasts, panel discussions and debates, covering race, religion, gender and everything in between. This year’s line-up includes plenty of big names, including Sam Simmons presenting his new show Radical Women of Latin American Art 1960-1985; Osher Gunsberg and Richard Glover talking about their upcoming books; shows from Alex Lee and Tom Ballard; and the chance to hear from John Safran, Zoë Coombs Marr, Celia Pacquola, Meshel Laurie and Nakkiah Lui.
