Jurassic Lounge – the Australian Museum’s evening parties with live performance, dating service, crafts, drinks and snacks – now runs twice a year, and if you’ve never been, you’ve been missing out on one of Sydney’s best after-hours gigs. It’s roaring to life once again Saturday October 28 with a Halloween spooktacular.
Highlights of Jurassic Lounge: Halloween include a silent disco, a giant dance lesson teaching you the moves to Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’; dissection and taxidermy demos; Killer Clown roleplay in the Museum lift; date roulette with Lucyfer; plus pop-up bars and a rooftop restaurant. Throughout the night, make-up artists can enhance your Halloween look with gashes and wounds.
Attendees will also be among the first to discover the 200 Treasures of the Australian Museum display including the specimen responsible for the first recorded human death by a funnel-web spider, a 2,800 year-old Egyptian mummy, and the return of the horse skeleton and rider.
To win a double pass, simply enter your details below by 10am Thursday October 26.
