Time Out says

You won’t want to be late for this very important date. The new Alice in Wonderland-themed pop-up bar in Potts Point is playing host to a tea party that any mad hatter would be proud to attend, and of course, you’re invited.

Taking its quirky cues from the pages of Lewis Carroll’s fantastical book, an “immersive high tea extravaganza” promises to take its guests on a surreal journey down the rabbit hole and through the looking glass. There will be games, puzzle-solving and even croquet played with flamingo clubs, before you tuck into a lavish spread of themed treats and the venue’s signature teapot cocktails.

While you expect plenty of peculiar moments, there are all the familiar accouterments of a classic high tea, including finger sandwiches with roast beef and pickles, poached chicken and grilled peppers, and of course, cucumber. There are sweets to follow your savouries, which are bound to have “eat me” written all over them – literally.

The festivities will be child's play, but the event is strictly limited to guests aged 18 and over. Tickets cost $50pp with food and drink included, and sessions are available every weekend throughout August.
