Each year, Sydney Writers’ Festival invites authors, journalists and writers from around the world to speak at one of their many literary talks, panel discussions and readings. This year’s theme is ‘Lie to me’ and artistic director Michaela McGuire is calling on her guests to think about the fibs we like tell and the ones we choose to consume. The 22nd Sydney Writers’ Festival runs from April 29 to May 5 at Carriageworks and other venues across Sydney.
