The name says it all, really. The Sydney Family Expo is a two-day extravaganza dedicated to all things family – we’re talking parenting workshops, children’s entertainment, expert-led seminars, not-for-profit organisations for kids and much more.
It’s happening on August 20-21, and everyone in the fam (including mum, dad, the kids, aunts, uncles and cousins) are invited to be part of the fun. Multiple leading authorities – including representatives from the NSW Police, Share the Dignity, Autism Awareness Australia, Red Nose Australia and the National Breast Cancer Foundation – will be on-site providing lots of great information on a range of important topics like bullying, domestic violence, early childhood education and after-school programs, parenting support, healthcare and sleep safety.
Prepare to shop up a storm as well, with stalls spruiking everything from baby formula to skincare, postpartum meals, toys, books, bedding and tech gear. And to make sure the kids are entertained, there will be live music performances, fun activations set up by multicultural centres and playgrounds with various themes.
So if you’re keen to spend quality time with the family, stock up on goodies, connect with local businesses and learn some really valuable insights about caring for your crew, this is one event you don't want to miss.
