What’s better than a one-day celebration of beer? A week-long beer festival, that’s what. Enter Sydney Beer Week: seven days of beer-laced festivities, events and delicious brews, all to celebrate the country’s top-notch craft beer scene. Back for the first time since 2018, Sydney Beer Week will see Sydney’s best breweries, pubs, and bars come together for its biggest beer shindig yet, with tastings and tours, backyard parties, special dinners, live gigs and more. And the best bit? Sydney Beer Week kicks off really soon, beginning on Friday, October 18, and running until October 25. Yeehaw!
Grab your mates and fellow beer lovers and come get amongst the nearly 50 free and ticketed events happening throughout Sydney Beer Week. Forget a beer crawl, and instead go on a beer tour by bike – the ‘Tour De Froth’ – which will see you bar-hopping on two wheels before ending with a cold one at Redfern’s Noble Hops. Hungry and gluten intolerant? No worries. You and your friends can enjoy a gluten-free feast with matching gluten-free beers at Yulli’s. Feel like a dance? White Bay Brewery is taking over the beer garden at Rozelle’s Welcome Hotel for a backyard party called The Pig Day Out (if you’re wondering about the name, roast pork rolls will be on offer). Newtown favourite Young Henrys will be taking over the taps and playing country bangers at Jolene's for a Sydney Beer Week hoedown. And the Beer and Brewer Awards will be celebrating the best of the best at Marrickville’s Wildflower Brewery. Plus, loads more.
