Shh! Dance like no librarians are watching in this Friday night silent disco in the State Library’s newly refurbished (and licensed) galleries. Sydney Festival is putting on a boogie between the bookshelves for all ages. Over three Friday nights in January, you can dance around the largest library in New South Wales – silently, of course – to tracks spun by special guest DJs. There are two nights for adults and one family-friendly dance party. Grab a set of headphones and whisper along to your favourite songs.
