DesignByThem, Sarah Gibson’s nine-year-old industrial and furniture design firm, is devoted to collaboration. Gibson has worked with parties as diverse as fashion designers, industrial designers and interior decorators. She and her colleagues also influence how Sydney sits. You’ll find Designbythem benches at the Sydney Opera House (those beautiful curvey ones by the Studio), and you can spot their seats at Single Origin Roasters, for starters.
