Time Out says

Summer means after-work ocean swims, barefoot barbecues with mates and refreshing Margaritas in the sun. And if you’re heading off on a road trip this summer, we’ve got just the place for you. Newy’s hottest rooftop bar at QT Newcastle is throwing a sun-drenched Margarita-fuelled party this summer in collaboration with Espolòn tequila. Called Salt & Sky: Margarita Summer, QT’s rooftop has transformed into a zesty Margarita haven where punters can order a selection of top-notch Margs paired with stellar views of Newcastle’s harbour.

On the line-up is a Classic, Chilli and Blueberry Margarita, plus a non-alcoholic Marg made with Lyre's Agave Blanco. Hot day? Cool down with a Frozen Margarita, or for something fruity, go for the Frozen Strawberry Margarita.

Want to take a snap that lasts? Head to the vintage photo booth where you and your mates can take some fun photos for keepsakes.

While you’re in Newy, be sure to also head to Arno Deli for a cracking panini and coffee, go for a dip at the beautiful Newcastle Ocean Baths, and enjoy a multi-course creative and delicious lunch at Flotilla.

With funky rooms, cloud-like beds, dreamy freestanding baths and a prime location on Hunter Street, QT Newcastle is one of our fave spots to stay in the coastal city.

Salt & Sky: Margarita Summer is on right now and is running daily throughout summer until March 16. We’ll cheers to that. Find out more here.
